Senior Web Developer RS6428 RS6428 Oregon-Portland metro area MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Senior Web Developer RS6428 with a minimum of 5+ years experience in web application design, development and/or installation. Outstanding knowledge of relevant technology, tools and middleware including Apache, J2EE, Java, CSS, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript and SQL are critical. Expert technical knowledge with hands-on experience managing systems development in new and current computing architectures and environments. Must have experience in the industry or in an environment whose scope, size and complexity are comparable. Must also have project management skills and the ability to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets and determine specifications, schedules and deliverables. Knowledge of current Enterprise Content Management and web technologies, tools, applications and vendors required. Advanced knowledge of web development techniques and experience with web content management systems also required. Strong understanding of structured analysis and technical design concepts. Experience with FileNet P8 Web Site Manager (Day Communique) or Microsoft SharePoint preferred. You will act as the technical lead for highly complex projects related to the development of new systems, applications or technology capabilities in support of business goals. Provide technical direction for projects and engage in all phases of the development cycle. Develop and implement strategies to execute large scale and complex projects through vision. Act as the subject matter expert and consult with clients and IT in support of the company’s IT strategy and overarching business requirements. Consult and provide direction to clients at every level of the organization. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
