Job description:

¬     This person will be responsible for supporting various aspects of Clients Digital Video product across all systems.

¬     Work closely with all our systems & key vendors i.e. Motorola, Cisco, SeaChange, Harmonic & RGB to roll out new services and correct identified problems.

¬     Help architect, deploy & install new video systems and equipment.

¬     Assist with software upgrades on Motorola network/set tops & VOD systems.

¬     4+ years as a lead head end technician with comprehensive knowledge of CATV head end systems.

¬     Hands on Motorola digital video experience required.

¬     Experience with statistical multiplexing required (Terayon, BigBand, RGB, etc).

¬     Ad insertion experience required, digital ad insertion experience desired.

¬     VOD experience required, Sea Change VOD experience desired.

¬     Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Cisco Networking, UNIX, LINUX;

¬     Basic IP skills.

Working knowledge of Excel & Visio.

30-50% travel required (predominantly day trips).

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Good Organizational skills.
